Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of BASE45 (base45.ca). By creating an account you agree to them.
The service
BASE45 is a hypertrophy training app: it generates training programs, adjusts them weekly from your logged performance, and optionally tracks diet. It is provided as-is; we work to keep it available and correct but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
Your account
Sign-in is by emailed link — keep access to your email address secure; anyone who can read your email can access your account. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you log.
Free trial and billing
- A valid payment method is collected when you start a subscription at Account → Billing — not when you create your account. You are not charged at that time.
- Your free trial of 35 days begins when that checkout completes.
- At the end of the trial your subscription charges automatically to the payment method on file, unless you cancel before the trial ends.
- You can cancel at any time — including during the trial — from Account → Billing. Cancelling during the trial means no charge is made.
- While your access comes only from the trial, a mesocycle you create may be at most 5 weeks long. That limit is lifted once you are a paying subscriber.
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, in Canadian dollars, at the price shown on the pricing page and at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
Payments
Payments are processed by Sold through Link, LLC, a Stripe affiliate acting as merchant of record. It charges your payment method, appears as the merchant on your card statement, and issues your receipts. Your purchase is also subject to the Sold through Link refund policy.
Cancellation
Cancel anytime from Account → Billing. Cancel during your free trial and you are never charged. Cancel after a charge and your access continues to the end of the period you already paid for, and you are not charged again. Your data is not deleted on cancellation — you can come back, or request deletion under our privacy policy.
Refunds
If a charge was a mistake — you meant to cancel, or you didn't intend to renew — email [email protected] within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it in full. Beyond 14 days, refunds are at our discretion, pro-rated for annual plans in cases of genuine error. In addition, all purchases are subject to the Sold through Link refund policy, which may permit refunds up to 60 days after purchase; where that policy is more generous than ours, it applies.
Not medical advice
BASE45 provides training programming, not medical advice. Consult a physician before starting a training or diet program, and use loads appropriate to your ability. You train at your own risk.
Acceptable use
Don't abuse the service: no unauthorized access attempts, no scraping other users' data, no reselling access. We may suspend accounts that do.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
